Who I am.
Hello,
My name is Aishwarya Murari and I am passionate about creativity and design. I spend hours excitedly browsing and stalking works of other artists and creators. I am obsessed with objects, how they came to be, shape our experience and change our world. Sarcasm and dark humor are my personal weapons of destruction. Books are my buddies, both fiction and non-fiction (who knew!). I skate, surf and I am a terrible singer (but i refuse to stop)
What I do.
I went to college for architecture, splitting my time between work, friends and hobbies. After graduation in 2016, I worked at an architecture firm but quickly realized that I had no interest in 'building'. When I was Freelancing for a year, I was hit with the reality of having zero knowledge of materials and making. So I altered my direction and enrolled in a furniture design course. I am currently geeking out exploring tools and automation in the workshop.
Why I started this blog.
For a while now I have been wanting to explore the subject of creativity and how to be creative, professionally. It is an experiment, personal musings I choose to share publicly. While I am comfortable writing privately in my journal, I want to stop being so comfortable. So feel free and browse away. This blog is as much for you as it is for me. In the last few years I have consumed so much content from other creators to find my own voice. I hope that this blog will be a reference for those on their own adventures.
